A Huge Lesson
Blog Entry #2
Today I learned a huge lesson.
How frustrating coding, HTML, design, and trying to make a website look awesome can be when you don’t fully understand everything yet.
I’ve had to learn, stumble, fall, and bang my head into website building more times than I care to admit. I’ve had to solve DNS issues, get SSL working correctly, and in between all of that, figure out what I actually want from this project.
And what I want… is to make a living, breathing story come to life.
I want to bring the enjoyment and happiness I feel when creating this to all of you. I want to share a huge portion of myself with people I don’t even know.
Why?
Because I love imagination and the freedom it gives.
Especially after my medically induced TBI (traumatic brain injury) that has stolen not only my health, my job, and the life I once knew — it also stole my voice. Something I never realized was so vital until I slowly lost what had once been my only form of communication.
But this isn’t really about me.
This is about the world, the universe, the story, and the music of Immortal Haven.
I only hope that when you visit this place, it can make you smile at least once.
